The Hidden Being, whom the watchers on high praise and to whom the hidden heavenly hosts sing “Holy, Holy, Holy,” the Creator of all [things], the One Who set the worlds in order from nothing and placed incorporeal (literally, conceivable) and corporeal (literally, visible) things, | ܐܺܝܬܝܳܐ ܓܢܺܝܙܳܐ ܕܰܡܫܰܒܚܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܥܺܝܪ̈ܶܐ ܒܪܰܘܡܳܐ ܘܰܡܩܰܕܫܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܚܰܝ̈ܠܰܘܳܬܳܐ ܓܢܺܝ̈ܙܶܐ ܕܰܠܥܶܠ.
the Hidden One, whom all the seers depicted by revelation and to whom they offered their oblations and tithes, the watchers are afraid to look in the direction of His Divinity, yet He revealed His Incarnation to the world among earthly being.
Behold! Hands of flesh distribute Him, who allowed His Type to become a sacrifice for sinners to give them life, and for the sake of His loved ones, He gave the priests (literally, priesthood) authority to break His Body and living Blood for the Church, His Betrothed.
His brightness impels the arrays of light to serve him, yet, behold, He is distributed to the family of Adam wonderfully. The [heavenly] hosts multiply their ascription of praise unceasingly, and His brightness impels their orders to give glory.
The cherubim carry His throne in the high place of His Father, yet He united Himself with those below to give them life. He gave to His Church glorious and indescribable Mysteries and redeemed her by his passion, gave her life by His death, and set her free at His killing.
Without scrutinizing, she eats His Body without investigation, and without investigating, she drinks His blood and is not scandalized. The upright prophets yearned for this Mystery, and, behold, it resided in the Church for the forgiveness of redeemed Nations.
Moses and Aaron depicted the Mystery and served Him, and they openly depicted the Mysteries of their Lord with their sacrifices. Noah and Abraham, along with Melchizedek, and both Seth and Enosh, depicted for us the Mystery of the Body and Blood of the Son of God.
The Mystery, transmitted by the ancients, left and came to us, sinners, although we are not worthy. Behold! We, wretched, (literally, our wretchedness) distribute him on the altar, yet the Mystery is wondrous and unsearchable because He is hidden from us.
Redeemer of all, [You] choose us to be servants of [Your] Mysteries and to carry Your Body and Blood to Your Church without fear, hear our cries, accept from us this sacrifice, and be pleased with it for the sake of sinners who entreat You.
Accept our prayers and petitions, and be a fortification of mercies for the congregation, the children of the Church. Have mercy on us, Son of God, for the sake of Your Body and living Blood which we receive in faith.
Deliver us, Lord, from injuries and adversaries, and preserve our lives so that we may serve You in purity. May Your Divinity, Lord, be satisfied with our sacrifice, [and] may the living and dead who professed your name be forgiven through it.
