The good wine in Cana of Galilee was the first sign of the New Testament.
Lord, You showed forth Your glory with the first sign, and Your disciples believed through the wine of instruction.
May the signs of the Lord be for us [signs on which we] reflect at all times, night and day.

Season of Great Lent: Fourth Sunday of Great Lent [The Parable of the Prodigal Son] – (Maronite Divine Liturgy)

The Prodigal Son

Syriac Melody:
The foolishness of the younger brother [see Lk 15:11-32] is insignificant when compared to (literally, smaller than) the love of the father. His father saw him while he was [still] far away, then he fell on his neck [that is, embraced him affectionately] and kissed him.
The younger brother said to his father, “I have sinned against heaven and against you. Father, my heart reproves me, but you are greater than my heart.”
God, You accepted, in Your mercies, the offering of the just of old, accept, in Your mercies, our offering and be pleased with our prayers.
