Syriac Tune:
Glory to the Trinity, invoked in three names, is confessed as one lordship, and worshiped as one majesty.
[The Trinity has] one power, one kingdom, [and] one will of being. A majestic glory to You, [O Trinity], from the mouths of the entire creation.
O Lord of lords and recipient of sacrifices, accept the incense and prayer offered to You in purity.
Son, You who climbed the cross (lit. ascended to the crucifixion) and redeemed the human race, accept the vows and firstfruits that are offered [to You] with joy.
Molder of all generations and maker of creation, accept the sacrifices and firstfruits that the priests (lit. the priesthood) offer to You.
Judge of the entire creation and forgiver of sin, forgive the iniquities of the souls that are offering You sacrifices.
The just ones prefigured in parables this living Oblation. It was sacrificed at the crucifixion, and it forgave the iniquities of creation.
In faith, Abraham brought Isaac as an oblation and prefigured for us the mysteries of sacrifices with a sacrificial lamb.
He prepared wood for the oblation, built the altar for the sacrifice, bound his beloved Isaac, his only son begotten at an old age.
The Compassionate One, who has compassion on all, had compassion on Abraham and set free the only begotten [of Abraham] from the sorrowful slaughter.
The young man was tied up as an oblation. He, however, was substituted with the miraculous lamb that was caught in the branches offered as the oblation.
The just Jacob saw a mystery in the wondrous ladder and set up three stones, [representing] the mystery of the Trinity.
The just ones prefigured Him in parables, and the revealer of hidden things depicted the sacrificial mysteries for us in the Divine Lamb.
Churches worship Him, monasteries [and convents] praise His name, and sacrifices, oblations, and firstfruits are offered to Him.
Lord, You who accepted the sacrifices of the prophets and patriarchs, accept the prayers which the children the Church offer to You.
May our incense be a peace-offering and the appeasement of the Godhead, may souls be forgiven and spirits sanctified through it.
The mysteries of peace-offering are placed on the altar in purity. They are being consecrated with joy for the forgiveness of all debts.
Watchers and mighty legions stand in awe, but priests (lit. the priesthood) carry the hidden One loftily.
Behold! The Redeemer of the entire creation, the forgiver of debts, is distributed in churches to all nations and races.
The Fashioner of all forms made the worlds and creations; He formed for us a gift and the forgiveness of transgressions with His body.
Offerings, firstfruits, tithes, and almsgiving forgive the sins and debts of those who bring sacrifices.
The mystery of the Trinity offered by the priests (lit. priesthood) forgives the spirits of the departed in faith.
[O] Hearer of prayers and Recipient of petitions, accept the incense and prayer that the Church offers to You.
May our petition be for Your hidden majestic name, and may these sacrifices that the Church offers to You be accepted.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one true God, to You be glory, and may Your mercy be upon us always and forever. Amen.
