Lord, be pleased with and accept this sacrifice from our hands. Forgive the transgressions and faults of the children of the Church. Your loving kindness has called me to the gift of Your Body and Blood, I then beseech [You] for mercy and compassion for me and Your entire flock.
Answer us, we who petition You. Accept our incense, prayer, and this awe-inspiring Service of the glorified Mysteries of Your gift. Accept this sacrifice that Your servants offer as the prophets, apostles, and the righteous and just did.
Accept it, Lord, in Your compassion, from our sinful hands, on Your spiritual altar in the Church of the firstborn in heaven. Accept it, Lord, through Your mercies, sanctify it by Your descent, and may it become Your forgiving Body by the indwelling of Your Spirit.
May it sanctify those who have offered it, forgive those who have partaken of it. May the bodies and souls, who have received it, reach the place of life. Surround this village, its inhabitants, those who are far away, and those who are nearby with the bulwark of Your mercy and mighty arm.
Guard it [this village], Lord, by Your Cross and give rest to the souls of its departed, the living and dead, who believed in You and received Your Body and Blood. Ward off plagues and diseases from every age inside of it. May it remain in righteousness until the end of the world.
Forgive by it the faults of those who have brought offerings and first fruits from their labors. Bless their possessions. May the debts of the departed for whose sake they offered it be forgiven by it, and may their spirits find rest by it.
May those who toiled and labored in it and assisted in its making be saved from the fire by it, and may they inherit eternal life, along with the priests and deacons who were departed from this place and left this life in true faith.
Remember them, God. With mercy, grant rest to their souls in the Your Father’s blessed dwelling places that You have prepared for Your beloved ones. Lord, bring every crop to produce a [plentiful] harvest and every fruit tree to fruition through our supplications to You.
May it sustain the children of the Church who partake of it in true faith; may they rise from the fall of sin. May Your Body and Blood remember at the royal altar anyone who has said: “Remember me in prayer for the sake of our Lord.” Allow us, we whom You have appointed to the significant priestly Order of the Priesthood, to serve You in the sanctuary blameless and faultless.
You have made us stewards to nourish Your servants, let us then minister Your Body and precious Blood at Your altar. From the mouths and tongues that receive it in purity is [due] glory to the Trinity at the beginning of our offering. May Your seal on bodies be Your cross, a bulwark for our souls.
